Profile and page banners
Recommended cover and header sizes for LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and YouTube, with safe-zone tips for generation.
Profile and page banners are image-only creatives (no caption pack). Ask for the network by name; the assistant uses the matching publicationType.
Models generate the closest supported ultrawide ratio (21:9 for LinkedIn, X, and Facebook; 16:9 for YouTube). Upload targets below are the platform pixel sizes to aim for when you crop or export.
Quick sizes
| Network | Format | Upload target | Generation ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn (personal) | Profile banner | 1584×396 (4:1) | 21:9 |
| LinkedIn (company) | Company Page cover | 1128×191 | 21:9 |
| X (Twitter) | Header | 1500×500 (3:1) | 21:9 |
| Page cover | 851×315 | 21:9 | |
| YouTube | Channel banner | 2560×1440 (16:9) | 16:9 |
Safe zones
- LinkedIn / X: keep logos and taglines in the center band. Leave the lower-left quiet; the profile photo overlaps there.
- Facebook: desktop and mobile crop differently; keep the subject and text centered.
- YouTube: only the centered strip (about 1546×423 inside 2560×1440) is safe on every device. Put channel name, logo, and schedule there.
How to ask
- “LinkedIn profile banner, brand colors, tagline centered, quiet lower-left.”
- “X header banner, bold product shot, no text under the avatar area.”
- “Facebook Page cover, clean hero, centered logo.”
- “YouTube channel banner 2560×1440, text inside the TV safe zone.”
